Video of Tolpavakoothu or leather puppet play, an ancient art form of Kerala. This form of leather puppetry is popular in and around the district of Palakkad. Traditional performed in temples this art form is part of the culture of Kerala. Tholpavakoothu adopts stories from Kamba Ramayanam, Tamil version of Indian epic Ramayana written by poet Kambar.
