Best Time to Visit Mallalli Falls

As usual during mansoon there will be plenty of water which gushes down from the river and the mist and the green hills around adds to the beauty of Malalli Falls and the water usually dries up during summer. If u are ready to do some adventure and do some trekking for 2 to 4kms then this is ideal place for you, the road access is just around 2 to 4kms away from the falls from there one have to trek. There are steps for half of the trek, from there it is slippery. Best time to visit is in December. Don’t even dare to go near during rainy season. As the place is very remote it is advisable to hire a local guide and avoid going there with family as it is very remote. If you are a big group of 20 to 25 then you can go with women and children. Better fold your trouser bottoms or you might have a tough time getting rid of the crawling leeches during monsoon at Malalli. Trekking to the top of the falls is not advised during monsoons as all you can do is stare at the strong flowing water body from a distance, don’t even think of stepping into it. But just to watch the magnificent falls you could go to another point opposite to the falls, the view from there is quite breathtaking as well.
